1. What we offer

Boomer Counselor provides free and paid tools to help students and parents think through college applications, careers, scholarships, and essays. Our suggestions are informational and not a substitute for professional counselling advice.

2. Your account

Signing in through Google creates your account with us. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service for unlawful purposes
Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
Submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or infringes anyone's rights
Scrape, data mine, or automate access without written permission

4. Content & intellectual property

All content, logos, text, graphics, and tools on Boomer Counselor are our property or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without our written consent.

5. Suggestions are not guarantees

Our tools use information you provide, public data, and AI to generate suggestions. We do not guarantee admission to any college, award of any scholarship, or any specific outcome. Please use your own judgement and consult qualified professionals when making important decisions.

6. Third-party tools

Some of our features connect to third-party services (e.g., Google). Their terms and privacy policies also apply when you use those features.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boomer Counselor and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
